Q&A with Mrs. Gunter

1. You came from Gustine, why did you chose the option of switching to Comanche?

I taught in  Gustine for 7 years (Kindergarten, Jr. High, and High School classes) and enjoyed it very much, but I was born and raised in Comanche. I graduated from Comanche in 2001 and am an Indian/Maiden at heart. It was just time to come back home.

2. How are you and your family liking Comanche so far?

My family and I love it in Comanche.  Every one has been so warm and welcoming.

3. What other activities are you involved in other than teaching?

I’m one of the freshmen sponsors and tennis coach.

4. How do you expect this year to go for you and your family?

This year is already off to a wonderful start.  We are very excited to be back and involved in all that Comanche school has to offer.  We are expecting it to be an amazing year for our family.

5. Do you have any hobbies or personal interests you would like to share?

My family and I like to camp, hunt, fish (basically anything outdoors), go to Rangers’ games, and I personally love crafts (sewing, painting, etc).
