Maidens earn first district win at Hamilton


The Maidens took their first win of the season on the road against Hamilton on Sep. 28 winning three of the five sets against the Lady Bulldogs.

The Maidens combined for a total of ten aces and 23 kills; junior Megan Carter led the team with a total of 12 kills and three aces.

“We were two sets down and came up in the last three,” sophomore Reagan Harms said. “I think this really win will really encourage and energize us this season.”

The Maidens are continuing to work hard as they continue district play.

“We definitely worked hard and we hustled and worked together more as a team,” sophomore Grace Wilson said. “It felt pretty good to win one of our district games.”

The Maidens are currently 1-3 in district play.
