The Theater Department will present “A Tuna Christmas” on December 12 at the CHS Commons.

The play is a comedy set during a wacky Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas, Tuna, where everyone knows everyone’s business.

The cast will include Taylor Berends, Dexter Young, Lily Peltz and Clarrisa Limon.

“My character, Bertha, is a struggling mom who has three kids and a husband who is always away,” Limon said. “The play should provide a lot of laughs.”

Senior actor Taylor Berends said he feels like the play will be accepted well by the audience.

“I think the play is going to be really good,” Berends said. “We put a lot of effort into it and it fits Comanche, Texas. I think people are really going to like it.”

Tickets are $5.00 each (ages 7 and under are free) and includes a stew dinner. Senior citizens age 70 and over will get one free ticket and meal with the purchase of one ticket/meal. Doors open at 5:30, the play begins at 6.
